and the Ball Drop in NYC!

TONIGHT (FRIDAY) at 7PM, we're LIVE!

In just two short hours and change, we'll travel back in time to the Dutch colony of New Amsterdam on the island of Manhattan where New Years Eve celebrations were a quaint neighborly affair.

Then we'll proceed forward through the centuries to see how a portion of the Astor (yes, those Astors) family's farm would eventually play host to the biggest, most iconic celebration of the New Year on the planet. (Mrs. Astor would most certainly NOT approve!)

Once we make it back to the 21st century, we'll spend some time marveling at the mechanics behind the Times Square Ball Drop celebration. Do you know where the previous balls are stored? Did you know that all that confetti is tossed *by hand* by a select group of dedicated volunteers? (and those are actual human beings - no AI robots are used!)
